I am co-publisher at Metonymy Press and a professionally trained text editor. I also build affordable websites for community groups and small businesses and manage social media and communications for organizations like the Creative Nonfiction Collective. My main freelance editing client is currently Concordia University Communications Services.
I was publications co-chair for the Quebec/Atlantic branch of Editors Canada for two years, have been copy-editing coordinator since 2012 for the Media Co-op, and was a member of the Queer Between the Covers book fair collective from 2008 to 2013. Before embarking as a full-time freelancer, I worked for three years as a coordinator at QPIRG Concordia. The skills and relationships built through my time there continue to ground my approach to professional and community work.
I completed a certificate in Publishing from Ryerson University in 2013, and I hold a BA from the University of Guelph in Women’s Studies and History.
